Onkel Otto in Stuttgart

We ordered here through Lieferando. Both schnitzel (turkey, pork) were tender and tasty. Side dishes: potatoes; Spaetzle too. Also the gravy; Hunter sauce and the melted onions were delicious! We will definitely order again and can recommend the restaurant to others. The portions were large - we ate twice of them. Thanks!

Food tasty and plentiful. Here you will get full ?, service very friendly and dog-loving. Nice old style with a large outside area. A bit out of the way but definitely worth it!

The food itself is really good. But in general everything subsides. Card payment not possible despite Corona! You have to order and pick up food yourself. And the last time we sat in there wasn't even the heater on and it was really cold. And unfortunately nothing is being renovated in the shop itself. It's a shame because it used to be a really great restaurant.

Enjoyed Onkel Otto for dinner with some friends. The portions are definitely large, especially if you order the XXL schnitzel! Delicious food and nice ambiance. Four stars only because of the location, it is a bit out of the way and hidden.

I've known "Uncle Otto" on the Wangener Höhe for over 50 years, and was here with my parents as a child. The pub / beer garden is quietly located between gardens, only residents or visitors are allowed to drive here. There is a parking lot at the back entrance, if this is full you have to drive back and try your luck a bit back on the roadside. But you can also take the U15 tram to the Geroksruhe stop and from there walk the 2.4 km through the forest (parallel to the road) or go by bike (the road is sometimes very bumpy). Self-service in the beer garden. The food is good, there are different types of schnitzel, the staff are nice.

The beer garden was fine. But the cordon bleue was a disaster and for me inedible. The other's schnitzel were ok. I lost my appetite because of this strange cordon bleue. Was that cream cheese oozing out of the side?

Nice place for an excursion with children up to 13-14 years old.

Monday is schnitzel day, i.e. Schnitzel until you drop. Big schnitzel so you can't even see the fries. Tastes good. Self-service and unfortunately no reservation option. Price-performance ratio but okay.

The price hit! In terms of size, too, chopping dreams come true here. In terms of taste, the quality varies from very good to average. It is exactly the same with the staff - depending on the motivation of the wait staff, the service may take longer.

I can't recommend it, I've been to other Uncle Otto's but this one is awful, there is no service here. SELF-SERVICE, must be ordered at the entrance, no tickets at the tables. Payment is only possible in cash and that in Corona times ?

I like to go out to eat with friends or work colleagues here if you just feel like a full serving of schnitzel. Of course you shouldn't expect star cuisine, but it tastes simple at times. Is like going to Mc Donalds. There is a star deduction because the interior of the restaurant could really be spruced up, for years it has looked the same old and dim there. And EC card payment should now be the absolute standard. Oh yes, the prices have unfortunately increased steadily in recent years.

Always happy here at Uncle Otto's, beautiful beer garden ? on the Wangener Höhe. There are delicious schnitzel in different variations. The staff is always very friendly and nice, self-service applies to the beer garden, the number is then called. - The only negative thing that costs the 5th star here is the fact that card payments are not possible here. So it is advisable to have enough cash with you, as it was almost fatal for me and my colleagues last time. I actually expect card payments from every restaurant today, especially since Corona. And in times when you can pay with the card at almost every bakery, that shouldn't be a problem here either. The fifth star will then be submitted as soon as the card payment option is also available here. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Incredibly delicious food and also perfect if you have your child or children with you - at least on days for the beer garden. The waiter was super friendly, so many people can learn a slice of it! When we're in the area again, you can count on us to visit again. Highly recommended!

You can get tasty and large schnitzel at a reasonable price from Uncle Otto. Those who expect more are wrong here, so you should be aware of this before you go out to eat here. There's not much more to say, if you like schnitzel you should definitely pay Uncle Otto a visit. Then you can go for a nice walk in the area.

We waited 1.5 hours for our food until we asked an employee where our food was going. First we were told that the food had gone out, someone else probably got it, but then it came out that we had been forgotten. There was no small reparation or anything like that. Food was only mediocre. Parking is also not possible.

In our eyes no food should go out ... I only expect home-style cooking. We give the restaurant a wide berth ... it's a shame but everyone has to decide for themselves where to leave their money ...

The schnitzel here is huge, inexpensive and delicious! Would recommend the visit anytime anyone is in Stuttgart. Furthermore, the location, in the middle of the woods, is incredible. I don't think any other place is as nice and comfortable as this one. Love it!

Great rustic restaurant, great value for money, great outside area, quiet and great location for walking. If you want you can even park right in front of the restaurant. The signage should be drawn a little more precisely, generally worth recommending

I was there today and I must say it wasn't good at all!!!, I had the Schnitzel with Mushrooms....they where over cooked, and the Schnitzel was full of oil.....just nasty I was in degerloch....sorry!

Nice environment and good food! Monday is the #allyoucaneat and with 10€ you get two enormous schnitzel.

It's a very nice place to eat with friends and family. It even has a small playground for kids. It's so welcoming. You need to come experience the goodness.
